E-mail: hello@vesana.org
This policy applies to the website vesana.org and its subdomains (including docs.vesana.org and demo.vesana.org). It concerns the public website only, not any self-hosted Vesana software installed on your own servers — that software runs entirely under your control and sends no personal data to us.
Server log files. When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data required to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested page, the referrer, and your browser and operating system. These logs are used solely for operating, securing and troubleshooting the website and are deleted after a short period.
Fonts. All fonts are hosted on our own server. No fonts or other assets are loaded from third-party services such as Google Fonts, so no data is transmitted to such providers when you view the site.
No tracking. This website uses no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. A minimal amount of technically necessary browser storage may be used for display preferences (e.g. the light/dark theme); this stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Contact by e-mail. If you contact us by e-mail, we process the data you provide (e.g. your e-mail address and the content of your message) in order to handle your request.
Processing of server log files is based on our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing of e-mail correspondence is based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where applicable, on the steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).
The website is hosted by IONOS (1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany), which processes the data described above on our behalf as a processor within the EU.
Personal data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes stated above or as required by law. Server logs are deleted after a short period; e-mail correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data and to request its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@vesana.org.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
